Welcome to Garden Plants By Post, the online garden nursery where all our plants are Irish grown in our own nursery, shop from the comfort of your home and we will deliver to your door through our mail order service. Please feel free to browse our shop.

Bare root plants are not always pretty on arrival but they are at least one year old and have been harvested from the field whilst dormant during the winter. We dig them up from the field on order.

Plant out on arrival and once the sunshine warms them they will continue to grow and bloom as if they have never been disturbed.

In autumn to early June, we offer for sale certain varieties of shrubs, trees and ornamental grasses; in bare-root form from our own plant nursery. Not only does purchasing bare-root plants save you money, but you will find that bare-root plants actually establish themselves more quickly in your garden.

We stock a variety of trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, Our prices are very reasonable, plants are available by mail-order in Ireland.

Garden Plants By Post, Is a new plant nursery, we maybe new but we have over 25 years experience in the horticultural business, be it plant production, retail, landscaping, domestic commercial or amenity, so we can assure our customers that their plants will arrive safely and in good condition. Plants can be sent to anywhere in Ireland.

Bare root plants are available from approximately Autumn to early June. We try to send all orders as quickly as possible but delays may occur if weather conditions prove unsuitable for lifting or we are waiting for a particular plant to complete your order. Our plants are grown & held in stock all year round.

Garden Plants By Post is a family run business based in the West of Ireland.

We supply a range of shrubs, trees and ornamental grasses; all are grown from seed by ourselves and sold as bare root plants and are free from chemicals and pesticides.

Our packaging is made from recycled packaging and can be recycled again.

Payment
We can use PayPal to facilitate payments. This allows us to accept credit cards and debit cards. Please note, you do not need too add plants to our shop basket or set up a PayPal account in order to pay using Paypal. At no time does Garden Plants By Post see your credit card details. We use a third party service because they specialise in providing security for customers. We pay the fees that arise from this further level of customer protection. On no account should you e-mail us your credit card details.

Ordering Via Paypal
Simply send us an order plant email with what plants and quantities you would like and we shall send you a request payment via paypal, and you just simply follow the online paypal instructions. Paypal email order

Delivery
Please allow 7 days for delivery of your orders, but most orders are shipped within 2-3 days

Shipping
Garden Plants By Post uses An Post Service for all shipments. Most deliveries occur anywhere in Ireland from 5 to 10 days after a shipment is initiated. Garden Plants By Post will advise the customer when their item has been dispatched if recorded delivery is chosen (there is an extra charge of €2.00 for this service) you will also receive the tracking number, Garden Plants By Post will not be held responsible for any items that go missing in the post as we have no control over this.

Returns
While every care is taken to ensure that your plants arrive in the best of condition, we cannot be responsible for failures due to bad planting, drought, unsuitability of site etc. If you have any complaints or queries, please advise us in writing within 10 days of receiving your order.

Terms & Conditions
Heights given are approximate and reflect the relative age and strength of plants. Should we have sold out of a particular plant/size, we reserve the right to make near substitutions unless requested not to do so in which case, if you have enclosed full payment with your order, we will send you a credit note or cash refund which ever you prefer.
